HDPE

High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is available in thicknesses from 0.75mm to 3mm and is produced with either smooth or textured surfaces. HDPE geomembranes are fusion-welded together to produce a geomembrane lining system that can provide a completely impermeable barrier to seal substances in or out. Typical applications for HDPE geomembranes include environmental containment systems for […]

LDPE & LLDPE

LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) & LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene) has many of the same characteristics as HDPE but is more flexible and may be folded. It is also not quite as chemical or UV-resistant as HDPE. Usually Potable grade and often preferred for floating covers.

GCL

GCL (Geosynthetic Clay Liner) is comprised of a layer of Sodium Bentonite/ Montmorillonite captured between 2 geotextile layers. It can be used as a Primary liner (confined under an earth backfill layer), but is more often used as a secondary liner under a HDPE or other Primary liner.

Geotextile

Geotextile is available either woven or non-woven. It is a type of filter cloth that comes in various grades and thicknesses. Often used as a protective layer under a geomembrane liner, or as a cushion layer over a geomembrane liner to protect that liner from drainage aggregate (e.g. in a Landfill). It is also used […]

Geocomposite

Geocomposite is a whereby geotextile is bonded together with a Geonet to become a manufactured composite liner. For example, a Drainage Net encapsulated in a Non-Woven Geotextile. The geotextile filters out finer particles (silt/clay) that would otherwise tend to clog the drainage net. May be used under a liner system in contact with the […]

CSPE

Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSPE) geomembrane and cover materials are highly UV stabilized and are used extensively in municipal water containment. CSPE has been used as a lining and floating cover material for more than 30 years, and has shown exceptional durability and longevity in potable water facilities.

Bituminous Geomembrane BGM’s

BGMs are becoming a popular alternative to conventional HDPE geomembranes and has wide applications in industry and mining, for water Storage , lagoon systems, leaching ponds for various liquid and solid wastes ,for landfills with bottom ash and composts. Seaming of BGM’s is usually undertaken by a welding technician using a LGP Blow torch to […]
