High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is available in thicknesses from 0.75mm to 3mm and is produced with either smooth or textured surfaces. HDPE geomembranes are fusion-welded together to produce a geomembrane lining system that can provide a completely impermeable barrier to seal substances in or out.

Typical applications for HDPE geomembranes include environmental containment systems for the protection of groundwater including Brine Storage Ponds, Water Conveyance Structures, Landfill Cell Linings and Evaporation Ponds. HDPE geomembranes are manufactured to meet and exceed the GRI GM13 specification.
