Cleanaway MRL

In anticipation of receiving operational approval from the EPA for Cleanaway’s new 120,000m² landfill cell, the contractor had to meet the stringent installation standards. Ensuring EPA-VIC compliance on such a large scale, with the high level of accuracy demanded for leak detection, posed a considerable challenge.

GeoQ was directly engaged by Ricardo Engineering on behalf of Cleanaway, due to our recognised proficiency in executing Dipole Electrical Leak Detection Surveys. Our responsibility was to carry out exhaustive Dipole testing across the landfill cell. Our advanced procedures were strategically developed to comply with the EPA’s stringent standards, thereby guaranteeing a comprehensive inspection of the cell’s integrity.

Our partnership with Ricardo Engineering led to a successful Dipole Electrical Leak Detection Survey, ensuring all EPA operational requirements were fulfilled to the highest standard. Our meticulous testing and expert analysis confirmed the landfill cell’s compliance with the stringent regulations, enabling its approval for operation. This project did not just highlight our dedication to upholding environmental integrity; it also helped affirm a new standard for quality assurance and compliance within the industry.
